My work has taken me to more than 90 countries around the world. One of the most enjoyable things about photography is being outdoors during harvest time. The colors are so vibrant. I love to be out in the open fields in Countries where people are still working the land and by hand. It reminds me of my childhood in Ireland. For example, Bali Joy came about late one afternoon while I was walking through the rice fields in Bali. This lovely woman with a bundle on her head caught my eye. I ran towards her and asked, if I could photograph her. She had this beautiful smile, why wouldn’t I go home happy that evening?
