Family with Mother in Cart, Dali, Yunnan , China 1986

Hong Kong was the second place I traveled outside of Europe, and was the gateway to China and it was a different World then, Most people only dressed in Moa style suit.............The suit is named after Sun Zhongshan but is also referred to as a Mao suit in the West because it was the suit Mao Zedong often wore in public and encouraged Chinese citizens to wear.
It was extremely poor but you always had plenty of food and very good to say, they really lived a very simple life as you can see here in the photo.
I hear now that Dali is a top Tourist spot.
